Researchin'

The Uber Collection, basically everything is pretty uber here- definately aimed at people with alot of disposable income but it is still spot on and perfect for its target audience. With catagories that shape just about the most perfect lifestyle what rich man would avoid this website? I think definately the ideal "life guide" the catagories cover just about everything and the website is structured really well. Its very easy to use and the imagery is good too- again with the use of "showing something without actually showing it" i will always love that element!

Mi Fashion Blog is really good for catagories that are perfect for its consumer, has some nice imagery too. "Must haves" is a good one to excite the consumer and make them wanting more.

The Chic Geek, branding is really good, it aims at the tasteful humour that men need and the products are gorgeous too. The layout of the website is really affective as there are two main images the left one changes between a selection of eye grabbing items and the right is just a really cool man that even DC said he would like to aspire to be! Nice use of illustration also.

again showing something without showing it- definately my cup of tea!

again tasteful humour that DC said was appealing to men when they are browsing...

WAH magazine: really good image to grab attention. makes me want to carry on looking at the website- also the main image changes after a few seconds, others feature graphics and bold type to add even more emphasis on their products.

Oi Polloi: perfect choice of brands for my target market- late 20s to mid 30s. the website has a simple layout which is easy to use and a nice use of illustrations which reflect the stores identity. The brand selection is SPOT ON!

End Clothing: aimed at a market with more of a disposable income, 25-35, great website, clean and simple, LOVE how they utilise the images- "Showing something without showing something" as DC put it, basically my FAVE way to display images, cut most of it out! haha. examples....

I much prefer how clothing is displayed these days, who needs models, these look way better layed out!

Highsnobiety: really good brands on here too, love the name also- very simplistic laypout, also i love how it is catagorised, big on gadgets also, you can tell straight away that it is menswear- not soley about fashion- if you go to Highsnobette it is completely based on fashion, which is one of the things which attracted me to menswear in the first place. PRODUCTS ARE GOOD!!! anyways ...

Selectism is WICKED! i love the font, layout and everything. Illustrations and cartoons are also featured which is a good thing as i love art. This also links it back to the way to sort of excite and appeal to men through reminiscing to their past- DC said it was almost a way of them to get a release from the clothing- not all men like shopping- "they need to be spoonfed."

bringing in past times, (star wars) relating to men...

Dover street market: simple, clean, easy but really affective- well good branding
