Australian designer Callum Morton has designed a pavilion for De Oude Warande in Tilburg, the Netherlands. I think it is amazing, the use of having a huge structure in the middle of a park in this manor is quite daunting, however this works perfectly. I love the shape, the way it reflects its surroundings almost creates the illusion that it is not really there, it blends in but it really doenst. If that even makes any sense???Named "Grotto" the structure is an art piece, a place where you can eat and drink, a stage, a screen, a cave, a grave, a meeting place and a general space for music, performance and enjoyment.

sheeeeeeeeeesh
ahhh i need to get cracking, its easter hols and I havent touched the essay- made a bit to do list so lets get bloody motivated, its pretty hard to when it's the end of term and whatever!!
Anyways today's distraction comes in the form of lie ins, bike rides and going to get my wages from town but then spending them on stupid things like face wipes and foundation, damn you skin. I hate you!!! I'm gonna do it tonight, I swear!
This is well nice:"In the first instance, I wanted to develop a design that would clash with the Baroque layout of De Oude Warande,” says Morton. “But now I think it clashes with itself. Grotto is a paradox."
