Work experience - Day 5

Thank god it's Friday!!!
This week has been so good, I can't believe how quickly it has gone and that I have actually managed to be up at 6.30 every morning without sleeping through my alarm like normal!
Had a meeting this morning with Darren or "D.C"! Going through all my research I had done and I showed him my presentation, he seemed really enthusiastic and pleased with what I had done so I'm really chuffed and feel wicked as I'm doing things right!
I went around the show rooms with him also and he was asking for my opinions on shoes, the colour schemes and my ideas for any alterations I would make etc, I loved this as I felt like my opinion was actually being taken into account.

Darren seemed like he was really pleased with my competitors sample that I bought, none of them had seen it before and seemed impressed, and he is thinking about making a Lacoste version- so they are hopefully going to be designing a shoe because of my research!!!!!
Had lunch with the other work experience people today, most of them seem quite young but really lovely, as they are only in for 1 week and today was their last day it was arranged to meet up together at lunch. A young girl was so eager in about finding out about my course, uni life and so on it reminded me of when I didn't know what to do with my life, however she seemed to have her head screwed on correctly.

So far this week has been brilliant, bring on Monday!
